Based in Occitanie, the duo Ben & Sara practise staged photography that lies at the crossroads of classical painting, theatrical dramaturgy and cinematic aesthetics. Their saturated and meticulously choreographed compositions explore collective fictions, contemporary rituals and the socio-economic changes of our time.
Having trained at La Chambre in Strasbourg (Ben) and the École des Beaux-Arts de Perpignan (Sara) respectively, they develop a body of work in which iconographic heritage engages directly with a critique of reality.
