Concerts at Collections de Saint-Cyprien: a unique experience
Art at the Collections can be seen in many different ways: in the form of exhibitions of paintings or sculptures, in the form of creative workshops or even in the form of concerts.
Les Collections offers a rich and varied program: each month, a new artist or group is invited to perform in an intimate setting, surrounded by the museum’s magnificent paintings.
It’s the perfect opportunity to discover new talent from different horizons. Musical genres range from jazz and bossa nova to rock and Latin. There’s something for everyone!
Concerts are also an opportunity to spend a convivial evening with family and friends. Young and old are invited to travel through sounds and notes!
The Musiques du Monde festival is an unmissable event for music lovers, combining discovery, quality and wonder.
World music calendar
Friday, March 28 from 9 to 10:30 p.m. :
Musiques du Monde ” Along the field” subtitled “Impression celtique”. Clémentine Decouture, soprano and Celtic harp, and Perceval Gilles on violin. Along the fields, a country lover, a few sheep and the description of Celtic landscapes both peaceful and wild… Along the field is the musical expression of a round of fire and fury, a spellbinding recital where Ralph Vaughan Williams and Gustav Holst meet dwarves and hobbits, inviting them to feast on traditional Celtic tunes.
Friday, April 25 from 9 to 10:30 p.m. :
The group “Ishtaâr”, souffle d’ailleurs, is a sung narrative propelled by breath, beyond the frontiers of time and space. Corinne Paule takes us on an epic journey. Suspended above the world, walking like a tightrope walker between matter and elevation, she tells us stories of women, of the quest for love, of universality. These universal love songs represent the three traditional cultures living side by side in medieval Andalusia. Corinne Paule will be accompanied by guitarist Jules Meneboo, a multi-faceted composer and performer with a passion for Flamenco.
Friday, May 30 from 9 to 10:30 p.m. :
With the band CANNY ACOUSTIC ALT – POP en TRIO. You’ll hear melodies and experience a purely Celtic atmosphere. Three musical artists put a different spin on alternative pop music. Trévor (Guitar and Lead), Irène (Flute and Mandolin) and Lee (Keyboard and Caion). They have reinvented each song in an original way, adapting it to their various instruments.
A new, dynamic and original alternative trio!
Friday, June 27 from 9 to 10:30 p.m. :
The band Jack & The Sparrow offer you a unique experience, with a repertoire tailored to your evening, featuring typical British songs and an acoustic Anglo-Saxon pop moment.
