Led by a team of enthusiastic professionals, the service aims to <strong>introduce young people to the world of art <\/strong>in a fun, participatory way. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Educational activities in the Collections<\/h3>\n\n<p>The educational department offers two types of activities:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Guided tours for young schoolchildren <\/strong>are adapted to every level of education, from kindergarten to high school. They are led by a qualified cultural mediator who uses playful, participatory methods to capture children&#8217;s attention. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Educational workshops<\/strong> are organized in a dedicated room, according to the Collections exhibition schedule. They enable children to discover artistic techniques in a hands-on, interactive way. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Rates for educational activities at the Saint-Cyprien Collections :  <\/p>\n\n<p>Guided tours and educational workshops are free for Saint-Cyprien schools. For other communes, the cost is \u20ac25 per group (guided tour + educational workshop). <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to organize an educational workshop or guided tour with the Saint-Cyprien Collections?<\/h3>\n\n<p>You can contact us on 04 68 21 01 33 or by e-mail at <a href=\"mailto:collectionsdesaintcyprien@otstcyp.com\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">collectionsdesaintcyprien@otstcyp.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>We&#8217;ll work together to create the perfect project for your class!<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A look back at the educational workshops organized with the Saint-Cyprien Collections<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Example of an educational workshop &#8211; Cycle 1  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>During the &#8220;Les gestes en dialogue&#8221; exhibition, running from the end of February to the end of April 2023, Les Collections de Saint-Cyprien organized educational workshops on the theme of the current exhibition.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The cultural team welcomed 6 kindergarten classes, representing some 166 children.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The workshop was divided into two parts:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Step 1: Making wood pulp  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Step 2: Making an iron frame for a rugby ball. The children then shaped the ball using newspaper. Finally, they covered the whole with wood pulp.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Example of an educational workshop &#8211; Cycle 2 &amp; 3  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The children turn the subject of the work into an advertising poster.<\/p>\n\n<p>Using a variety of techniques, including collage, colors and magazines, children create an original composition based on the theme of the Last Supper.  <\/p>\n\n<p>This activity introduces children to major artistic movements such as Fauvism, Pop Art and Street Art.<\/p>\n\n<p>14 classes, or 380 children, took part in the workshop.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Example of an educational workshop &#8211; Post bac (Idem \u00e9cole sup\u00e9rieure des m\u00e9tiers cr\u00e9atifs et num\u00e9riques)  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>2 groups of students, or 30 young adults, accompanied by their teacher Florence Delaunay, took an active part in the guided tour and creative workshops.<\/p>\n\n<p>The objective? The youngsters had to take the subject of the work and turn it into an advertising poster. <\/p>\n\n<p>Using a variety of techniques such as collage, colors and magazines, the young people created an original composition based on the theme of the Last Supper.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Pedagogical aim: a youthful reinterpretation of a biblical scene.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Example of an educational workshop on inclusion with \u00c9cole Fran\u00e7ois Desnoyer  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The SOP project (Olympic and Paralympic Week<\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n<p>All the school&#8217;s classes took part in the project to create a giant sculpture in plastic film. Each class represented a number of sportsmen and women in a variety of disciplines. They used a method of making characters out of scotch tape molded onto a human body. The various interventions in the classes took place from March 13 to April 3, 2023.   <\/p>\n\n<p>175 children took part in the event.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Saint-Cyprien Collections educational service is an excellent opportunity for children to discover art in a fun, interactive way. It helps them develop their critical faculties and creativity, while offering them a moment of pleasure and sharing. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Example of a project with the Maison des Jeunes de Saint-Cyprien: Pavillon Bleu project  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Organization of a participative action between the MDJ and the Collections de Saint-Cyprien. 30 teenagers from the Maison des Jeunes made mega nanas of the Sea and City in the style of Niki de Saint-Phalle.  <\/p>\n\n<p>6 sessions have been scheduled for the summer of 2023 to carry out this project.
